Established in 1994, Taylor & Syfan Consulting Engineers a mid-sized structural engineering design firm, appreciated for our smart, innovative, and efficient structural solutions. We offer expertise in a broad range of project types, including high-end custom residential, commercial, civic, healthcare, K-12, college/university, military, industrial, and energy/utility projects.

Additionally, we are skilled in specialty structural engineering services such as rehabilitation of historic structures, forensic analysis, expert witness to the legal profession, photovoltaic panel support systems, and R&D of alternative structural systems and materials. We are founding members of SLO Green Build and a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

We have S.E. and P.E licensing in multiple states and the U.K., as well as engineers on staff with geotechnical, construction, and construction management experience. This allows us to undertake a wide variety of structural engineering projects with confidence.
